Brazos County is pleased to announce the continuation of the county's Wellness Incentive Program that is incorporated into the county's health plan, which is offered by the Texas Association of Counties Health and Employee Benefits Pool (TAC HEBP). This program offers active employees an incentive to learn more about their current health status and to work toward improving their health. Brazos County and TAC HEBP are helping employees take charge of their health and build a brighter future.
WELLNESS INCENTIVE
From October 1, 2023 through Sept. 30, 2024, employees, retirees, and spouses covered on the county's health plan have an opportunity to qualify for a wellness discount (2024 savings = $900), which they will receive in 2025. Obtain a physical exam and submit a verification form from the visit by Sept. 30, 2024, and you will receive a discount for your health benefits starting Jan. 1, 2025!
Employees, Retirees, and Covered Spouses Must submit the annual exam verification by Sept. 30, 2024 to receive the discount for 2025 one of the following ways:

PREVENTIVE EXAMS COVERED AT 100 PERCENT
Physical exams are covered at 100 percent and are not subject to co-pay unless additional health concerns are addressed at the time of visit, which will prompt an office visit co-pay.
